“Tragedy” by The Fabric
I was the DP on this fun little narritive-based music video. It was a great shoot, had a lot of fun, and I think the final product came out very nicely. I hope you enjoy it.
A friend of mine was behind the camera on this video for a local band.

Atlanta and Joy Behar
They really, really need to hurry up and fix the last few broken windows in the Westin…
They’re not just fixing the broken ones, they are replacing every single window in the building. it’s an 18 month project, and I think they’re almost 6 months in? Not sure but it’s still going to be a while. I tried to take Mrs. Meth to the sundial for our 5th anniversary and they were closed for the window renovation.
I still say that Trojan is missing a major marketing opportunity…
Help me meet Conan O'Brien!
i am embarking, dear friends, on a Quest of Greatness. conan o’brien’s tour is making its way to eugene, oregon, and i have a ticket. a ticket to meet conan costs $700. the only people who have that kind of money don’t deserve to meet conan as much as i do. so i am drudging up support with, you guessed it, a facebook group.
please, dear tumblr friends, please find it in your heart to click that link and join my group. my hope is that conan, or someone close to conan, will find it and their heart will fill with the joy of knowing that i kind of look and act like conan o’brien, and they will let me meet him for free instead of spending an outrageous amount of money.
oh, and if you’re on twitter, i suggest you tweet this to @ConanOBrien as well.
thank you, you are all most wonderful folks!
oh and if you could reblog this that would pretty neat too. i always forget about reblogging.

The Amazing Zep
This bit of silliness has my name on it as director, but honestly, Jayson is the guy who wrote it and handled all of the digital work. I just broke down the script and shot the actors in front of the green screen.
Except the elephant. I did not shoot the elephant in front of the green screen. The guy riding the elephant, yes. But not the elephant itself.
This was mostly an exercise in digital production, but you might get a giggle or two out of it.
I actually make an appearance in the film, as well. Bonus points if you can figure out where.
"All of a sudden a freaking zebra comes running down the street like a car. Five or six police cars were in hot pursuit. And a bunch of officers on foot. But then I got scared, thinking … what else is loose?"

You should see the local TV news about this. They’ve got choppers covering every angle. You’d think it was a car chase in LA.
No lie. I work at the top of Centennial Tower (direct view of the Phipps parking lot where the animals are kept) and there were three new choppers circling the building for most of the afternoon. Even after the Zebra was caught, they were there for at least an hour. Hell, they were still there when I left.
Ah, yes… This is all as I predicted just over a week ago.
Soccer Balls That Store Energy
Brilliant:
Jessica Lin and three other female Harvard University students—Jessica Matthews, Julia Silverman, and Hemali Thakkar—created sOccket to produce a soccer ball that generates cheap, clean, off-grid electricity when rolled.
omg i just found out the coolest thing!!!!!!!!!!

If you put water in a pail and swing it around in a circle, the water doesn’t fall out of the pail if you spin it fast enough!!!!!!!
Not sure what voodoo is responsible for this, but it fucking rocks!!!!
Centrifugal Force is your friend!
Works with a baby in a car seat too…
I’m kidding alright! It’s a joke! Relax! No babies have been spun, but some cats don’t seem to visit anymore. (<- that part was a joke too…)
